บทคัดย่อ

The objective of this survey was to study the health consumers' and nurses’ view on nurses’ ethical behaviors in Damnernsaduak Hospital as issues in Nursing and Midwifery Professional Act B.E. 2528. Subjects were 98 health consumers and 165 staff nurses by purposive-sampling. Data were collected by using 2 sets of questionnaires : the private factors and view on nurses‘ ethical behaviors. The content validity were esta-blished. The questionnaires were tested by Cronbach‘s method as alpha values of 0.932 in health consumers' questionnaires and 0.944 in nurse’s questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed by statistical method as percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA, T-test and LSD. The results were as follow. 1)The health consumers' and nursesi view on nurses’ ethical behavior was moderately suitable level in items of kindness, gentleness, responsibility, discipline, honesty, sacrifice, human honor respect and unanimity. On item of patience the health consumers’ view was moderately suitable level but nursesi view was good suitable level. 2) Nurses’ and the health consumers' view on nursesi ethical behaviors affected on items of gentl-eness, patience, discipline, unanimity, honesty significantly at the 0.01 level and kindness with the significance at 0.05 level. 3) The health consumers who had different length of hospital stay viewed on nurses’ ethical behavior differently on items of kindness and unanimity with the significance at 0.01 level and gentleness, sacrifice with the significance at 0.05 level. 4)Views of nurses with different age affected nurses’ ethical beha-viors on item of unanimity.
