ปัจจัยเสี่ยงของการเสียชีวิตของทารกในครรภ์

บทคัดย่อ

     Objective : To determine ante-partum maternal and fetal risk factors for intrauterine fetal death.

    Methods: A case control study.

    Results : There were 44 cases of intrauterine fetal death from Jan 2004 to Dec 2006. This study showed that intrauterine fetal death was associated with the following risk factors: history of decreased fetal movement (OR 7.78, 95% CI 4.68-12.91), high risk pregnancy (OR 7.75, 95% CI 2.57-23.35), gestational age < 37 weeks (OR 4.19, 95% CI 1.58-11.10) and small for gestational age fetus (OR 3.48, 95% CI 1.57-7.71).

    Conclusion : intrauterine fetal death could be reduced by basic clinical assessment and surveillance tools.
