การตายทารกปริกำเนิดในโรงพยาบาลบ้านโป่ง ปีงบประมาณ 2543-2548

บทคัดย่อ

       Objective : To study perinatal mortality rate in Banpong Hospital and to study causes of perinatal death during 6·years from October 1999 to September 2005.

       Study design : Retrospective study.

       Result : The 13,127 births in Banpong Hospital from October 1999 to September 2005 were 110 perinatal mortality. Perinatal mortality rate were between 4.82-12.22. The tendency of perinatal mortality rate declined. The average was 8.38 per 1,000 live births. The main causes of death were macerated stillbirth, congenital malformation, specific causes, prematurity and birth asphyxia. Asphyxia, preventable cause are on the decrease trend. Improvement of antenatal care, early detection of high risk pregnancy group, proper management in labour room, available of newborn resuscitation team would reduce perinatal mortality rate.
