รูปแบบการทำงานฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพคนพิการ : กรณีศึกษา จังหวัดนครปฐม

บทคัดย่อ

Now a day, eventhough rehabilitation is developed in such an area, there are several existed problems such as unregistered disabled people, inaccessible service, inappropriate law and local government policy. This drive researcher to study how to apply integrate Community Based Rehabilitation. This project aspect assistance from any organization, especially assistance from local community and government.

The project known as Integrate Rehabilitation of Disabled People’s Life Quality was set up as a pilot study at Tumbon Prongmader, Aumper Muang, Nakhonpathom Province. After, the study was finished, the result shows that the number of registered disabled people increase from 34 to 103 people. However this number is less than data from Ministry of Public Health, the number of disabled people is about 8.1% of the number of Thai citizen (935 persons). The researcher did survey from this studied group. It was found that 30.1% was elderly people, 69.90% was immobile people and 74.76% was level 4^th  disabled people. This project also studied need of this study group. The result shows in two important points. Firstly, 42.73% of this group needs medical rehabilitation such as medical care, rehabilitation, basic care. Secondly, this studied group needs social rehabilitation such as job training, financial assistance and immediately respond from current problem. lf they have job, they could look after themselves and their family.

The proper and effective rehabilitation could come from supporting from any people and organizations in the community. Especially, support from local governing organization would be advantage ous. Key success factors in disable rehabilitation need to be involved with management and cooperating system, for instance, organization structure development, effective worker, facility and supported fund, communication process from organization to community development will lead to "The Integrated and Multi-collaborated Community Based Rehabilitation model". This process will create disable living standard development continuously.
