บทคัดย่อ

From October 1^st , 2006 to September 30^th , 2007, 168 patients with abnormal pap smear were examined with satisfactory colposcopy and cervical biopsies were performed. Only 91 patients had undergone conization or hysterectomy. Comparing colposcopically directed biopsy with the final histological diagnosis revealed that ; in the group of patients with lower or equal to LISL in cytology, sensitivity 95.7, specificity 70, positive predictive value (PPV) 88, negative predictive value (NPV) 87.5 and in the group of patients with upper or equal to HSIL in cytology, sensitivity 94, specificity 62.5, positive predictive value (PPV) 84, negative predictive value (NPV) 62.5. The doctor must has high-skill and experience to make an accurate diagnosis.
