บทคัดย่อ

         A retrospective study was done in all anesthetic patients in Ratchaburi Hospital from May to September, 2003 in order to collect the incidence, distribution and the associated factors involved in anesthetic related respiratory complications. Most patients were healthy and halt of them were undergone general anesthesia. We found that most of the anesthetic related respiratory complications were in general anes- thesia group but only a few was at risk of difficult intubation. Most of anesthetic related respiratory complications were in patients with general anesthesia. The incidence of pulmonary aspiration and failed intubation were not encountered. The incidence of esophageal intubation, desaturation, reintubation and difficult intubation were 0.03 %, 0.4 %, 0.05 % and 0.05 % respectively.
