การตายของทารกปริกำเนิดในโรงพยาบาลนครปฐม ปีงบประมาณ 2542-2546

บทคัดย่อ

          From October 1999-September 2003, perinatal mortality rate in Nakhonpathom Hospital was 9.35 per 1,000 live births. The main causes of death were macerated stillbirth and birth asphyxia. 35.8% of all perinatal death were delivered from pregnant women that attended antenatal care clinic at Nakhonpathom Hospital, major cause of death in this group was macerated stillbirth, whereas 37.44% of all perinatal death were delivered from pregnant women that attended antenatal care clinic at other hospitals and major cause of death in this group was birth asphyxia. Improvement of antenatal care, early detection of high risk pregnancy group, proper management in labor room, available of newborn resuscitation team and effectiveness of referral system would reduce perinatal mortality rate.
