การใช้ยา อีดีเตด แคลเซี่ยม ไดโซเดียม ลดระดับตะกั่วในเลือดของเด็ก 19 ราย ในโรงพยาบาลพหลพลพยุหเสนา

บทคัดย่อ

19 children who lived in an area with high lead exposure were transferred to Paholpolpayuhasaena hospital from October 2000 to April 2002. Their blood lead levels were checked and found to be higher than normal. All 19 children were treated with calcium disodium edetate. Their liver and renal function as well as electrolyte status were monitored. The result showed that their blood lead levels were significantly decreased. However, few side effects were detected in some cases.
