White Piedra : A Case Report

Abstract

          A Thai male, aged 42, had eczema on the left groin accompanied with asymptomatic white hair nodules on pubic hair for 2 weeks, After examination with the wood’s lamp, microscopic examination, culture and biochemical test, it is compatible with Trichosporon beigelii. This is the first report of white piedra in Suphan Buri.
