Febrile convulsion is a common problem in children from 6 months to 5 years old, that is classified as simple or complex type, the latter characterized by frequent recurrence of febrile convulsion itself and progression to epilepsy.

This study was retrospectively undertaken to review electroencephalographic [EEG] results of 62 complex febrile seizure-children under 15 years of age, who were diagnosed at Ratchaburi hospital during 2 years from October 2000 to September 2002.
