บทคัดย่อ

           A 100 cases of cataracts were performed by suturless clear-corneal phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation in Damnoensaduak Hospital from Oct 1, 1998 to Apr 30, 1999. There were 64 eyes of female, 36 eyes of male. Age were 37-83 years.

           Two months after surgery, visual acuity in 33% was 6/6, visual acuity in 67% was equal or better than 6/9. Corneal astigmatism from surgery was a little, 78% was equal or less than 0.75D. 34% was equal or less than 0.25D. Postoperative astigmatism of these surgeries by temporal approach incision in this study change to be With-the-Rule more than preoperative.
