บทคัดย่อ

Placenta percreta, a deeper penetrating subtype of placenta accreta, is a rare, potentially life-threatening complication of pregnancy. It occurs when chorionic villi penetrate the myometrium up to the peritoneum.

A case report of a 20 years’ old woman at full term pregnancy with labor pain. Third stage of her labor was prolonged. Manual placental removal was done. Bleeding uterus was ruptured. On exploration laparotomy reveal intra-abdominal bleeding and ruptured uterus. Placenta percreta was presented. Total hysterectomy was carried out without complication. Risk factor, incidence and management were discussed.
