ผลวิเคราะห์การดำเนินงานเฝ้าระวังทันตสุขภาพในโรงเรียนประถมศึกษา ของกิ่งอำเภอสามร้อยยอดและอำเภอกุยบุรี จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันต์

บทคัดย่อ

The objectives of this study were to investigate the knowledge, attitude, and co-operation of primary schooled teachers to dental surveillance and effects of various factors, for the improvement of guidelines dental surveillance of the Eighth National Dental Health Plan. All of primary-schooled teachers in Samroiyod Sub-District and Kuiburi District were selected during July to August 1996. The result of attitude and co-operation showed that most of primary schooled teachers had positive attitude and co-operation to dental surveillance. Most problems were management of cheap tooth-brush and toothpaste in schools, the referring primary students to health service units, there was not enough money, not coordinated among teachers and dentists, low co-operation of primary students’ parents, inappropriate models and procedure of primary dental surveillance and the dentists were not interested in these problems. The result of knowledge showed that the teachers who passed the training have the knowledge more than the teachers who did not passed. The teachers from Samroiyod Sub-District who passed the last training have the most knowledge. The result of this study can be used as guideline to develop dental surveillance system of primary schools in Samroiyod  Sub-District and Kuiburi District, Prachaupkhirikhan.
