ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อสุขภาพของมารดาและทารกที่คลอดในโรงพยาบาลนครปฐม

บทคัดย่อ

          The purpose of this research was maternal and fetal study about health status and factors that affected maternal and fetal health. Socio-economic factors, antenatal care service, pregnancy complications and health behaviors during pregnancy were included. 300 pregnant women who delivered in Nakhonpathom hospital from August 1, to October 31, 1998 were interviewed. The results were that 90% of mothers had good health status and the other 10% had not. Factors that affected maternal health were maternal education, maternal weight gain and the use of condom to prevent sexually transmitted diseases during pregnancy. In this study, 92% of newborns had good health. Maternal age was the factor that affected newborn health status. The place of antenatal care service, prepregnant maternal weight and maternal weight gain were factors that affected fetal weight. Finally APGAR Score was affected by the place of antenatal services and qualified antenatal visits.
