บทคัดย่อ
A study of prevalence of anemia in 1,328 pregnant women at Samut Sakhon hospital antenatal clinic was conducted during October 1, 1994 -September 30,1995. The study revealed that prevalence of anemia when hematocrit below 33 and 30 percent were 16.11 and 2.6 respectively, and the average hematocrit was 35.43 ± 2.99 percent. After taking multivitamin and ferrous sulfate for 12 weeks, incidence of anemia decrease to 5.4 and 0.9 percent, and hematocrit was statistically increasing (P < 0.05).
