การวิเคราะห์คุณภาพการบริการการพยาบาลผู้ป่วยให้ยาระงับความรู้สึกชนิดดมสลบและให้ยาระงับความรู้สึกชนิดยาชาเฉพาะที่ผ่าตัดต่อมลูกหมากวิธี TUR-P ในโรงพยาบาลนครปฐม

บทคัดย่อ

Outcomes of the 122 BPH-patients operated by TUR-P from October 1992 to September 1995 at Nakhonpathom hospital were analysed, concerning two anesthetic methods. Ninety-five patients (77.87%) were conducted by general anesthesia whereas twenty-seven (22.13%) by spinal anesthesia. The age incidents were 56-92 years old. but most of the patients were between 60-69 year old. The pre-operative underlying conditions were 34.37 and 30.35 percents by the years 1994 and 1995 respectively in the general anesthetic group and 13.04 percents by the year 1993 in the spinal group.

Anesthetic time ranged from 20 to >120 minutes in the spinal anesthetic group and was longer in general anesthetic group. There was no mortality but the severe complication occurred on one patient (1.05%) in the general anesthetic group. All patients in the spinal anesthetic, group, could be discharged from the hospital within seven days and also eighty-three patients, 87.36 percents, in the general anesthetic group. No patient had to stay more than seven days was found correlate to anesthetic complication. In conclusion general anesthesia was not contraindicated in TUR-P for higher age patients.
