บทคัดย่อ

The objective of this research is to study the attitude of all nursing teams in Samutprakan hospital to their work.

The questionnaires were sent to 432 nurses. The details of question concerned income, task, welfare, professional promotion and continuing educational.

The result was indicated as follow;

  1. Income generally. Most of the nurses were satisfied with their income from Samutprakan hospital. However, to earn more money from extra job, they had to work in other places, such as factories, private hospitals and taking care of patients.
  1. Tasking. Most nurses enjoyed their own working responsibility. But some complained that they had to work over load because the number of patients did not balance to the number of nurses.
  1. Co-ordination. The result showed that most nurses would rather work with doctors only. A few nurses suggested that doctors should reduce the degree of self-confidence.
  1. Welfare. It was recognized by the nurses that welfare must be better improved such as health care insurance, accommodation, nursery, transportation, public telephone and shopping stores.
  1. The opportunity of education and career successful. Most nurses were satisfied with progressive of their career and education. Some nurses claimed that the chance to step up in these higher position was too slow, hospital should provide education and special training to nursing staffs in order to develop organization.
