การผ่าตัดรักษาผู้ป่วยบาดเจ็บของใบหน้าในโรงพยาบาลบ้านโป่ง ระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2522 - 2533

บทคัดย่อ

          We present a retrospective study of surgical treatment of maxillofacial injury in Ban-Pong hospital (368 beds), 11 years duration (1979-1990). There are 329 patients, 275 male (84%) and 54 female (16%). Most of them are in age group 21 -30 years (167 cases, 51%) with age range 1-76 years old. There are 43 cases (13%) of only soft tissue injury and 286 cases (87%) of facial bones injury with 319 fracture sites. Each patient with only one site, 2 sites and 3 sites of fracture are 267 cases (93%), 11 cases (4%) and 8 cases (3%) respectively. In this study, most organ injuries are mandibular 145 cases (45%), zygomatic 76 cases (24%), nasal 58 cases (18%), maxillary 35 cases (11%) and frontal air sinuses 5 cases (2%) respectively. There are 6 cases required corrective treatment in operating room. There are 20 associated other organs injury;other bones fracture 11 cases, eye 5 cases (enucleation 4 cases, repair nasolacrimal duct 1 case), brain (craniectomy) 2 cases, abdomen (exploration laparotomy) 1 case and chest (intercostal drainage) 1 case.
