บทคัดย่อ

A Thai male 16 year old, 15 days before admission, sustained a puncture wound in his left elbow. The wound became infected. Later on his left arm became spastic with severe pain. He developed lock jaw, opisthotonos so tetanus was diagnosed. He noticed a prominence on the back side of his left shoulder. Radiographs showed posterior dislocation of the left shoulder. Closed reduction was done but failed, so open reduction was performed. The result was satisfactory.
