ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งที่ได้รับการดูแล แบบประคับประคองในระยะท้าย จังหวัดเชียงราย
บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวาง มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งที่ได้รับการดูแลแบบประคับประคองในระยะท้าย ในกลุ่มผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งที่เข้ารับบริการที่ศูนย์ดูแลผู้ป่วยต่อเนื่อง ของโรงพยาบาลรัฐในจังหวัดเชียงราย จำนวน 110 คน ศึกษาในระหว่างระหว่าง เดือนกรกฎาคม ถึง กันยายน 2561 เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้ แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบสอบถามปัจจัยด้านการรักษา และ แบบสอบถามคุณภาพชีวิต (EORTC QLQ-C30) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการ ทดสอบความสัมพันธ์โดยใช้สถิติ Chi-square test ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพชีวิตมิติด้านการทำหน้าที่ คือ ระดับการศึกษา ระยะเวลาการเจ็บป่วย และระดับผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการดูแลแบบประคับประคอง (PPS score) ส่วนปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อคุณภาพชีวิตด้านอาการและปัญหาจากการเจ็บป่วย คือ ระดับการศึกษา ประวัติการรักษาโรคมะเร็งของคนในครอบครัว ระยะเวลาการเจ็บป่วย และระดับค่า PPS score และยังมีปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพชีวิตมิติด้านสภาวะสุขภาพและคุณภาพชีวิตโดยรวม คือ ด้านสถานภาพสมรส ระดับการศึกษา ตำแหน่งของการรักษาโรคมะเร็ง และระดับค่า PPS Score อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<.05) จากการศึกษา พบว่า ระดับการศึกษามีความสำคัญต่อการดูแลผู้ป่วย และควรมุ่งเน้นการดูแลเพื่อให้ผู้ป่วยสามารถช่วยเหลือตนเองได้ให้มากที่สุดเพื่อเป็นการเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยในระยะยาว โดยมีการฝึกทักษะในการดูแลตนเองของผู้ป่วยและทักษะของผู้ดูแล เพื่อให้ผู้ป่วยมีคุณภาพชีวิตในช่วงสุดท้ายของชีวิตอย่างมีคุณภาพไปจนถึงวันที่ล่วงลับไปอย่างสมศักดิ์ศรีของความเป็นมนุษย์
