Abstract

Enoxaparin sodium, a low molecular weight heparin injection drug, is used for the treatment and prevention of diseases caused by blood vessel occlusions in the body, such as acute coronary artery syndrome. This is a high-risk drug, as it can cause complications. The most common complication is increased bleeding, such as gastrointestinal bleeding and hematoma under the skin at the injection site, causing discomfort or even death in severe cases. Possible risks relate to the individual’s health status, including drug administration techniques. Therefore, nurses must be knowledgeable regarding the importance of the medication, its indications, precautions and complications, proper drug administration, and appropriate nursing care to ensure the highest benefits to the patient, including safety from complications
