การจัดการปัญหาความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่: จากความเข้าใจสู่การเสริมสร้างพลัง ความเข้มแข็งให้กับสตรี

ความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่เป็นปัญหาสาธารณสุขสำคัญในระดับนานาชาติที่คุกคามสิทธิขั้นพื้นฐานของมนุษยชน การทำความเข้าใจในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่จะช่วยนำไปสู่แนวทางการช่วยเหลือทั้งการป้องกันและการดูแลแก้ไขปัญหาระยะยาว บทความนี้กล่าวถึง ความหมายและประเภทของความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ ปัจจัยเสี่ยง ปัจจัยปกป้อง ผลกระทบของปัญหาความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ รวมทั้งการป้องกันปัญหาความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 3 ระดับ การป้องกันระดับปฐมภูมิเป็นการป้องกันความรุนแรงก่อนเกิดเหตุการณ์ การป้องกันระดับทุติยภูมิมุ่งเน้นการป้องกันการเกิดความรุนแรงซ้ำ เช่น การคัดกรองสตรีที่ประสบปัญหาความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ และการจัดการกับปัจจัยเสี่ยงที่ทำให้เกิดความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ การป้องกันระดับตติยภูมิมุ่งความสนใจในการป้องกันการสูญเสียชีวิต บาดเจ็บ ทุพพลภาพ และแก้ไขผลกระทบจากการถูกทำร้าย ทั้งนี้ในทุกระดับผู้ให้การช่วยเหลือต้องให้ความสำคัญกับการเสริมสร้างพลังความเข้มแข็ง โดยผ่านการร่วมคิดและตัดสินใจของสตรีเพื่อให้สามารถหลุดพ้นจากความรุนแรง รวมทั้งเคารพในเอกสิทธิ์ของสตรีผู้ถูกกระทำ กลยุทธ์ในการช่วยเหลือสตรีที่ประสบปัญหาความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ มีเป้าหมายลดผลกระทบระยะสั้นและระยะยาว ช่วยให้สตรีปลอดภัยพร้อมฟื้นฟูพลังความเข้มแข็งเพื่อสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงให้สามารถยุติปัญหาความรุนแรงได้อย่างยั่งยืน
