บทบาทและสมรรถนะของพยาบาลด้านการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพในกลุ่มเฉพาะ : การป้องกันการติดเชื้อ HPV ในเพศชาย

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอบทบาทและสมรรถนะของพยาบาลในการป้องกันการติดเชื้อ HPV ในเพศชาย เนื่องจากเชื้อ HPV เป็นสาเหตุหลักของโรคหูดที่อวัยวะเพศ และโรคมะเร็งที่เกิดจากการติดเชื้อ HPV หากเพศชายมีการติดเชื้อ HPV แล้ว จะสามารถแพร่เชื้อไปสู่เพศหญิงหรือคู่นอนได้ โดยการดำเนินการป้องกันการติดเชื้อ HPV ให้มีประสิทธิภาพนั้น ถือเป็นความท้าทายของบุคคลากรทางสุขภาพ ซึ่งต้องร่วมมือกันแบบสหสาขาวิชาชีพ ดังนั้นพยาบาลจำเป็นต้องมีความรู้ ความเข้าใจในประเด็นสำคัญที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการติดเชื้อ HPV ในเพศชาย โดยบทบาทที่สำคัญของพยาบาลคือการเป็นผู้ให้ความรู้ ให้คำแนะนำปรึกษา การประเมินภาวะสุขภาพ และสามารถจัดการองค์ความรู้อย่างเป็นระบบ ซึ่งการเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับบทบาทของพยาบาลนี้ จะช่วยให้เพศชายและคู่นอนมีความปลอดภัยจากการติดเชื้อ HPV และลดอัตราเสี่ยงต่อการเป็นโรคที่เกิดจากการติดเชื้อ HPV ลงได้
