ผลของการบำบัดแบบผสมผสานต่อความปวดและความทุกข์ทรมานในผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง

การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลระหว่างวิธีการบำบัดแบบผสมผสานกับการพยาบาลตามปกติต่อความปวดและความทุกข์ทรมานผู้ป่วยมะเร็งทุกชนิดที่เข้ารับการรักษาแผนกมะเร็ง โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย ระหว่างพฤศจิกายน 2557 ถึงมีนาคม 2558 ประกอบด้วยกลุ่มทดลอง 15 คน ที่ได้รับการบำบัดแบบผสมผสานด้วยการนวด การกดจุด และการสัมผัสเยียวยา ครั้งละ 15 นาที 2 วัน และกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ 17 คน โดยประเมินก่อนและหลังการทดลอง 0, 15, 30 นาที และ 24 ชั่วโมง ของทั้ง 2 วัน ใช้มาตรวัดความรู้สึกปวดและความทุกข์ทรมานของจอห์นสัน วิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติ Wilcoxon matched pairs test และ Mann-Whitney U test
ผลการวิจัย
กลุ่มทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยระดับความปวดและระดับความทุกข์ทรมานก่อนการทดลองวันที่ 1(x̄ = 4.6, 4.6) และวันที่2 (x̄ = 3.0, 3.5) เทียบกับหลังทดลองทุกเวลาแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทั้งสองวัน (p ≤ .001, ≤ .001) ระดับความปวดระหว่างกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ ก่อนทดลองวันที่1 (x̄ = 4.6, 3.0 p ≤ .007) และวันที่ 2 (x̄= 3.0, 2.8, p ≤ .5) ระดับความทุกข์ทรมานระหว่างกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบก่อนทดลองวันที่ 1 (x̄ = 4.6, 2.5 p ≤ .002) และวันที่ 2 (x̄= 3.5, 2.3, p ≤ .053) เทียบกับหลังทดลองทุกเวลา มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (p ≤ .01, p≤ .001)
