บทบาทพยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติชุมชนกับการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่เป็นโรคเบาหวาน

โรคเบาหวานเป็นโรคที่พบบ่อยในกลุ่มประชากรผู้สูงอายุ เนื่องจากอุบัติการณ์และความรุนแรงของโรคที่เพิ่มขึ้น ซึ่งปัจจัยเสี่ยงที่สำคัญและเป็นภัยคุกคามสุขภาพต่อผู้สูงอายุที่เป็นโรคเบาหวาน คือพฤติกรรมการบริโภคอาหารและการดำรงชีวิต นำไปสู่การเกิดโรคอ้วนและโรคเบาหวานได้ง่ายในผู้สูงอายุ พยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติชุมชนเป็นบุคลากรทางสาธารณสุขที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่เป็นโรคเบาหวาน ที่จะส่งเสริม รักษา ป้องกันและบรรเทาภาวะแทรกซ้อนที่จะเกิดขึ้นกับผู้สูงอายุที่เป็นโรคเบาหวานได้ บทความนี้จะนำเสนอเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของพยาบาลเวชปฏิบัติชุมชน ในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่เป็นโรคเบาหวาน โดยบูรณาการความรู้ที่ได้รับเกี่ยวกับการดูแลสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุที่เป็นโรคเบาหวาน เป็นกระบวนการสำคัญที่จะวางแผนการดูแลเพื่อส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพและลดการเกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อนที่จะเกิดขึ้นได้
