โรคพยาธิในลูกตาคน (Thelaziasis) จังหวัดเชียงราย ประเทศไทย: รายงานผู้ป่วย

ชายไทยอายุ 25 ปี เป็นชาวไทยภูเขาจากบ้านห้วยแม่เปา อำเภอพญาเม็งราย จังหวัดเชียงราย มารับการรักษาพยาบาลที่สถานีอนามัยห้วยแม่เปา เดือนกรกฎาคม 2548 ด้วยอาการเคืองตา คัน เหมือนมีสิ่งแปลกปลอมอยู่ในตาม และเมื่อขยี้ตามพบพยาธิคล้ายเส้นด้ายสีขาวออกจากเยื่อบุตาขวา จำนวน 1 ตัว ตรวจพยาธิภายใต้กล้องจุลทรรศน์พบว่าเป็น พยาธิ Thelazia callipaeda ตัวเมีย โดยตำแหน่งของปากช่องคลอดอยู่ตำแหน่งของรอยเชื่อมหลอดอาหารและลำไส้ ส่วนปากไม่มีริมฝีปากโพรงช่องปากรูปสี่เหลี่ยมมุมฉาก ตัวอ่อนห่อเป็นถุงกลมรูปร่างคล้ายจานจำนวนมาก และออกไข่เป็นแถวตอนปลายมดลูก รายงานนี้เป็นการรายงานพยาธิ Thelazia ในลูกตา เป็นรายที่ 6 ในประเทศไทย
