Key success factors to solve litigation problems of health product of food and cosmetic in Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the key successes for solving litigation problem of health products such as food and cosmetic of Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office by collecting data of interviews of 10 officers in the consumer protection group whose responsible for controlling those healthy product in the market according to the theory of working structure of Mckinsey.The results of study revealed that the first 3 success factors were Style, Staff and System which showed mean score 5, 4.9 and 4.6 respectively. The problems were lacking of members who can manage the litigation and the self-confidence of members to do law enforcement.Others were appropriate budgeting and instrument to collect the evidence. We suggest the way to solve the problems would be appropriate training program to support the team members, the connection of litigation in district level and clearly assign person in charge to handle with the litigation issues.
