Participation of communities in the Children development center Lamphun province

Abstract

          Participation of the community are very important in the development of Children development center. This study is descriptive study. The objective is study the involvement of communities in the Children development center in Lamphun and compare the differences of community participation in the Children development center between the sample responsible for children who meet the standard in good and very good compared with a group responsible for children care centers that meet standard in basic level and substandard from the Department of Health. The samples and population consists of a specific healthcare workers, local government officer, child development center Boards and children care centers’ s worker for 180 people. The data collection during may - September 2553. Tools for analyze data collected by a computer program package for using descriptive statistics with frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results showed that a group who responsible for children care centers that meet standards in good and very good have participation in the operation on all sides at a high level. Average score was 4.14, the standard deviation equal to 0.507 and a group responsible for children care centers that meet standard in basic level and substandard have participation in the operation as a whole on all sides at the medium level. Average score was 3.13, the standard deviation was 0.608.This study are show that the participation of the community can improve the standard of Child Development Center and the results of this study will be guide for development and supporting about community participation in the Children development center to provide effective.
