PJarticipating Process of Community in Holistic are Elderly Rimping Sub-distrct Mueang District Lamphun Province

Abstract

          This study was participatory action research. The objective was to find out the process of commute participatory holistic care of the elderly people in Moo 4 Bann Aribangwan and in Moo 5 Ban Chlaedeekae, Tambol Rimping, Muang country, Lamphun province. The samples were in 2 groups. The first group was 200 elderly people who volunteered to join with this project. The data was collected with the elderly health survey questionnaire that was improved from the survey of the institute of Geriatric Medicine Division. health Ministry. The second group was 30 people from the health network to find out about their participation in holistic care. The data was collected ty participatory observation, participator observation, and group discussion and recording.

     The result found that the location was in the country. Agricultural occupation, local language speaking. There were both single families and extended families. The all helped each other and also Buddhism. Age average was 68.97 years old, they had personal disease and risk health behavior at 62.5% and they also needed health welfare service. About the process of community participation, the were community preparing, information returning to community organization , committee forming. Planning action, evaluation and conclusion. The process of community participation was coordinated among community organizations and the supportive of government offices. That meant using community  powered accords, community needs and background to solve the problem, and the elderly holistic care too. The process can also use to approve solutions in the other problems of the other groups in the community.
