Employee Health of Chiangkham Hospital in the fiscal years 2004-2006

Abstract

          The purpose of this descriptive study was to determine the result of Employee Health Programs of Chiangkham Hospital, Phayao Province the fiscal years 2004-2006. Material and methods. The sample, Healthcare workers were enrolled to annual physical examination. The research instrument consisted of questionnaires, noise exposure measure equipment, light measure equipment, check up programs record. Health screening was done by physical examination and chest X-ray.

          The result indicated that Occupational Medicine Division (Occ Med) was established since 2003. Annual physical examination of Healthcare worker were increasing, 92.6% 93.2% and 93.7% respectively. Female and government officers were the majority group. Quitting smoking (81.5%, 83.6% and 83.1%), alcoholic consumed (32.6%, 36.4% and 35.0% respectively) were increased. For additional supports to increase rate of exercise concern, Sport’s day on every Wednesday and sport club were establish.
