Assessment of satisfaction indicator: Guideline of Service-friendly for youth on AIDS and sexually transmitted infection in 8 northern provinces

This descriptive study aimed to assess the satisfaction of users toward “Guidelines of Service friendly for youth on AIDS and sexually transmitted infection in 8 northern provinces” made by Office of Disease Prevention and Control 1, Chiang Mai and then take the suggestions to improve the Guideline to meet the needs of users. Purposive sampling was applied for sample selection, at a total 14 hospitals, located in 8 Northern provinces, where there is STI Clinic services were selected. Structured questionnaires were used as a tool, data was further analyzed by descriptive statistics, percentage, and frequency. Results found that respondents have known/heard/seen and have read/used this guideline, 64.29% and 50.00% respectively. The channels of receiving the guideline were by mail (78.57%) and from participation in a related training / meeting (35.71%). Moreover the guideline was applied for their work activities (64.29%) as well as using it as references (35.71%). We further analyzed satisfaction on the components of this guideline, 57.14% of users were satisfied with this guideline, because of accuracy in terms of relevant technical issues and usefulness of this guideline. Moreover 42.86% of users were satisfied as to appropriate size of the guideline.
