Lymph node ratio เป็นปัจจัยการพยากรณ์โรคของมะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่ที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดเลาะต่อมน้ำเหลือง ในโรงพยาบาลมหาสารคาม

วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อศึกษา prognostic value ของ LNR ในมะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่ที่รักษาในโรงพยาบาลมหาสารคาม
วิธีการศึกษา : เป็นการศึกษาวิจัยเชิงวิเคราะห์ (Analytic study by retrospective data collection) โดยการทบทวนข้อมูลทางคลินิกของผู้ป่วยจากเวชระเบียนผู้ป่วยและรายงานผลการตรวจทางพยาธิวิทยาในมะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่ที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดที่โรงพยาบาลมหาสารคาม ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม 2556 - ธันวาคม 2558
ผลการศึกษา : ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อ overall survival ของผู้ป่วยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ได้แก่ Resection margin status , N stage, M stage, Pathological stage, การได้รับ chemotherapy, การได้รับ radiation, การได้รับ combined chemotherapy and radiation และ LNR ปัจจัยที่ไม่มีผลต่อ overall survival ได้แก่ Histological grade, lymph-vascular invasion และ T stage และในกลุ่มที่ number node of examination น้อยกว่า 12 nodes พบว่า LNR สัมพันธ์กับ overall survival อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ในขณะที่ N stage, M stage, Pathological stage ไม่สัมพันธ์กับ overall survival
สรุปผลการศึกษา : LNR มีความสัมพันธ์กับ overall survival ดังนั้นจึงใช้เป็น prognostic factor ที่ดีของโรคมะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่ได้ โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มที่ node examination น้อยกว่า 12 nodes
