พฤติกรรมสุขภาพช่องปาก ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลและสังคม ที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำจังหวัดนนทบุรี

การศึกษานี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบภาคตัดขวาง เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมสุขภาพช่องปาก คุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปาก และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลและสังคม พฤติกรรมสุขภาพช่องปากกับคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำจังหวัดนนทบุรี กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ต้องขัง 337 คน เก็บข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถามความรู้ เจตคติ และการปฏิบัติในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปาก รวมทั้งแบบวัดผลกระทบสุขภาพช่องปากต่อคุณภาพชีวิต ค่าความเชื่อมั่นของแบบสอบถามเท่ากับ 0.75, 0.73, 0.72 และ 0.94 ตามลำดับใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของสเปียร์แมนในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล กำหนดนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ต้องขังส่วนมากมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับสุขภาพช่องปากในระดับต่ำร้อยละ 71.2 เจตคติในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากในระดับสูงร้อยละ 57.30 มีการปฏิบัติในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากในระดับปานกลางร้อยละ 68.55 คุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปากมีค่าความรุนแรงเท่ากับ 13.83 ผู้ต้องขังส่วนมากมีปัญหาสุขภาพช่องปากร้อยละ 76.60 ส่วนความสัมพันธ์พบว่า อายุ รายได้ และระดับการศึกษาของผู้ต้องขังเรือนจำจังหวัดนนทบุรีไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปาก (rs=-0.007,P=0.887; rs=0.051,P=0.348 และ rs=-0.040,P=0.464 ตามลำดับ) ความรู้ และเจตคติ มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวก (rs=0.190,P=<0.001 และ rs=0.201,P=<0.001 ตามลำดับ) ส่วนการปฏิบัติมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงลบ (rs=-0.126,P=0.021) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติกับคุณภาพชีวิตในมิติสุขภาพช่องปาก สรุปควรให้ความรู้ในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากโดยเน้นการปฏิบัติ จัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมหรือจัดสรรเวลาให้เอื้อต่อการดูแลช่องปาก และสนับสนุนให้มีระบบการรักษาหรือปรึกษาทางทันตกรรมทางไกล (Teledentistry) ร่วมกับโรงพยาบาลแม่ข่ายเพื่อเพิ่มการเข้าถึงบริการทันตกรรม
