Competency and satisfaction of the employers toward competencies for Graduate public health (community public health) Sirindhorn College of public health, Khon Kaen province before establish to national university

Abstract

                This cross-sectional survey aimed to study competency and satisfaction of the employers toward competencies for graduate public health in community public health from Sirindhorn College of public health Khon Kaen before established to national university. The total of 109 samples were selected from purposive sampling. Data were collected a structured questionnaire that was validated by three experts and had a high reliability (Cronbach’s alpha coefficient = 0.86). The data were analyzed using analysis programs to acquire percentage, mean, and standard deviation. 
                The finding revealed that the overall of competency of graduate public health in community public health was the highest level (mean=4.38,S.D.=0.64).In each aspect was the highest level of competency such as the ethical and moral (mean=4.43,S.D.=0.58), the interpersonal relationship and responsibilities (mean=4.42,S.D.=0.66), the numerical analysis, and information technology skills (mean=4.12,S.D.=0.61) and the community practice skill (mean=4.09,S.D.= 0.64).

               The satisfaction of the graduate public health in community public health’ employers on the competence was the highest level (mean=4.30,S.D.=0.57), In each aspect was the highest level of satisfaction, the most satisfaction was the interpersonal relationship and responsibilities (mean=4.43, S.D.=0.75).
