Knowledge Attitude and Prevention Behavior on Neck and Back Pain of Dental Public Health Program, Sirindhorn College of Public Health Khon Kaen

Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study knowledge, attitude and preventive behavior on neck and back pain in dental public health students, Sirindhorn College of Public Health Khon Kaen. The participants were 3rd year student in academic year 2018. The data were collected with a questionnaire and analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. The results found most of the participants had knowledge score at very high, high, and similarly high level (66.7%, 24.1%, and 5.6% respectively). The attitude on neck and back pain prevention were at high, moderate, and low (48.1%, 38.9%, and 9.3% respectively). The behavior to prevent neck and back pain were at low and moderate, level (90.75% , and 9.3% subsequently). There were no relation among knowledge, attitude, and behavior (p-value>0.05).
