Abstract

          Since people are different from each other and how and why they are different is still unclear, it is the subject of the study of Individual differences (IDs). Although the study about individual differences seems various, it is also to study about central tendency, how well a person can be described in terms of an overall withinperson average. Perhaps, the most important questions of individual differences are whether people are more similar to themselves over time and across situations than they are to others, and whether the variation within a single person across time and situation is less than the variation between people. Relevant question is the similarity of people differs in their similarities to each other. Other frequent questions of whether particular groups (e.g., groupings by sex, culture, age, or ethnicity) which are more similar within than between groups are also questions of individual differences.
