Dental nurses use drugs for odontogenic infection treatment, pain relief, oral lesions treatment and preventive dentistry. This article suggests common drugs used in dentistry for dental nurses such as antibiotic drugs, analgesic drugs, mouth washes and anticariogenic agents including their indications, adverse effects, contraindications and dosages.
