Abstract

In the 18th century, doctors noticed that workers whose jobs required them to retain certain body positions for long periods of time developed musculoskeletal problems. Later on, doctors found that when Ergonomics Principles were exercised in the workplace, work-related musculoskeletal disorders were decreased. Consequently, workers and workplaces did not have to lose their benefits for the work-related musculoskeletal remedy. In addition, workers also enjoyed their works more which lead to high level of work performances.
