Abstract

           The purposes of this research were 1) to study the satisfaction level of participation in education quality assurance (PEQA) among personnel and nursing students 2) to compare the satisfaction level of PEQA among personnel classified by age, academic levels, and working experience, and 3) to compare the satisfaction level of PEQA among nursing students categorized by academic levels at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhornratchasima (BCNNM). Participants were 63 nurse instructors and administrative officers and 307 nursing students from second to fourth year. The researcher used descriptive statistics including mean, percentage, standard deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA for data analysis. The results revealed that there was high level of satisfaction of collaborating education quality assurance (EQA) among BCNNM personnel ( \inline \bar{x} = 3.81, S.D. = 0.70) BCNNM student were also highly satisfied with PEQA (= 3.94, S.D. = 0.45). There were not significantly different levels of satisfaction on participation in education quality assurance among personnel with different groups of age and working experience (p > 0.05). However, there were significantly different levels of satisfaction on participation in education quality assurance among personnel with different education levels (p<0.05). The levels satisfaction of PEQA among nursing students with different academic levels were significantly different at level of p<0.05.

          Therefore, the findings indicate that BCNNM should support and encourage personel and nursing students to collaborate the activities of EQA, especially personnel with bachelor degree and junior students. The QA activities both inside and outside organization should be supported regularly in order to increase knowledge and understanding of QA. The knowledge and understanding will contribute to more cooperation of quality assurance. Moreover, this will be an initial workplace culture by using education quality assurance as guidance for working.
