The participation of the development of district health system operation among health personnel in At Samat district health learning management network, Roi Et Province

Abstract

          This cross sectional descriptive research aimed to study the participation and factors related to participation of the development of district health system operation among health personnel in At Samat district health learning management network, Roi Et Province. The samples were 156 persons who took responsibility for health system development using systematic random sampling approach. For qualitative data, an in-depth interview guideline was developed and used to collect data that provided intensive information on the topics. For quantitative data, the questionnaire with Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient 0.977 was employed. Descriptive statistic such as frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, and median to describe characteristic were tested. Inferential statistic such as Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression analysis were also performed.

          The findings from this research were that organizational support level was at high level accounted for 3.50 (S.D. = 0.52). The participation of district health system operation development was at high level with 3.53 (S.D. = 0.62). Organizational support positively statistically correlated with the participation of district health system operation development by health personnel in At Samat district health learning management, Roi Et Province (r = 0.874, p-value < 0.001). Factors affecting the participation of district health system operation development were organizational support for the management and organizational support for the time. These two factors predict the participation of district health system operation among health personnel in At Samat district health learning management 68.3 percentage (R²= 0.683p-value <0.05).
