Motivation , morale and satisfaction of dental health officers at sub-district promoting hospitals in Khon Kaen province

Abstract

    This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to survey of the motivation, morale and satisfaction of dental health officers at sub - district promoting hospitals in Khon Kaen  province. The developed questionnaires from the ministry of public health were about motivation, morale and satisfaction in their work. Data were collected from 87 personnel.

    The results showed that the majority (74.72 percent) of the samples were female aged  from 20 to 56 years (mean = 30.16 years, S.D.= 9.52).  About eighty-two persons (94.25 percent) graduated from Sirindhorn college of Public Health, Khon Kaen province. Sixty-one (70.11 percent) worked up to 10 years. Good relationship with co-workers and supervisors were the most important reason for motivation, morale and satisfaction in their work with the level score of importance as 3.53 (S.D.= 0.61) and  high satisfaction with the score of 3.57 (S.D. = 0.64).
