การทดสอบความถูกต้องของวิธีวิเคราะห์และตรวจสอบสารกลุ่มไดออกซินและพีซีบีในน้ำดื่มบรรจุขวดพลาสติกในสภาวะจำเพาะ

ได้ทำการศึกษาเพื่อทดสอบความถูกต้องของวิธีวิเคราะห์ที่ปรับจากวิธีอ้างอิง U.S. EPA Method 1613B และ 1668C ด้วยเทคนิค isotope dilution และวัดปริมาณด้วยเครื่อง High Resolution Gas Chromatograph/High Resolution Mass Spectrometer พบว่า ค่าขีดจำกัดของการวัดปริมาณสารกลุ่มไดออกซินมีค่าในช่วง 1.6-16 พิโคกรัมต่อลิตร สารกลุ่มพีซีบีคล้ายไดออกซินเท่ากับ 27 พิโคกรัมต่อลิตร และกลุ่มพีซีบีไม่คล้ายไดออกซินเท่ากับ 0.16 นาโนกรัมต่อลิตร ความแม่นและความเที่ยงอยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่สากลยอมรับ จึงได้นำวิธีวิเคราะห์นี้ใช้ในการตรวจวิเคราะห์ตัวอย่างน้ำดื่มบรรจุขวดพลาสติกที่ทดลองเก็บไว้ในรถยนต์จอดตากแดดเป็นเวลา 1 วัน และ 7 วัน จำนวน 18 ตัวอย่าง ผลการศึกษาไม่พบสารกลุ่มไดออกซินและพีซีบีคล้ายไดออกซินในทุกตัวอย่าง ทำให้ผู้บริโภคมั่นใจได้ว่าไม่มีสารกลุ่มไดออกซินปนเปื้อนในน้ำดื่มบรรจุขวดพลาสติกที่อาจเป็นอันตรายต่อสุขภาพ
