Abstract
This exploratory study was conducted during June and September 2022 by collecting of both quantitative and qualitative data to analyze the components and mechanisms of the system of elderly health service by family doctor clinics. These data provided an evaluation of family doctors clinics health care service management for elderly in the 6th regional health area. The opinions on the provision of services were randomly collected with the proportion sampling method from the 134 representative of family doctor clinics and the highest outcomes of the 3 types of services were randomly selected with the purposive sampling method from 7 representatives family doctor clinics. Moreover, the services data were collected from 202 elderly who got the services from the family doctor clinics in the 6th regional health area. The descriptive statistics was used to describe the quantitative data. The content and thematic analysis were used for qualitative data analyzing. The results shown that the service network partners and the managerial resources such as personnel, health database, medicine and medical supplies, finance through the management process as planning, operation, cooperation, and evaluation with the 13 health care services were the crucial components of the family doctors clinics health care service management for elderly in community. According to the results, there were several problems and obstacles to manage the health care service for the elderly. Therefore, policy issuing to drive the family doctors clinics health care service management for elderly in the regional level would be recommended by providing of the service plan, organizing of the learning forum to make a knowledge management, and setting up the center to improve the health care information database. For the operation level, the elderly health care plan should be apply with the local development plan. In addition, the efficient budget management for the synergize working with the potential network partners in the community should be focused.
