อัตราการอยู่รอดของรากฟันเทียมในผู้สูงอายุในโครงการรากฟันเทียมพระราชทานเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ โรงพยาบาลพระจอมเกล้า จังหวัดเพชรบุรี

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อประเมินอัตราการอยู่รอดของรากฟันเทียมที่รองรับฟันเทียมทั้งปากในขากรรไกรล่างและประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ป่วยสูงอายุที่เข้าร่วมในโครงการรากฟันเทียมพระราชทานเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ โรงพยาบาลพระจอมเกล้า จังหวัดเพชรบุรี
วิธีการศึกษา: โดยติดตามการรักษาผู้ป่วยตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2553 ถึง พ.ศ. 2565 จำนวน 40 คน ตัวแปรทางคลินิกที่บันทึก ได้แก่ ดัชนีการมีเลือดออก ดัชนีสภาพเหงือก ความลึกร่องปริทันต์ การละลายตัวของกระดูกจากภาพถ่ายรังสี การโยกของรากฟันเทียม การอยู่รอดของรากฟันเทียม และความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้รากฟันเทียมของผู้ป่วยสูงอายุ ภายหลังจากการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลแล้ว นำข้อมูลไปแจกแจงหาค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการศึกษา: พบมีเลือดออกเป็นเส้นร้อยละ 16.25 เหงือกอักเสบปานกลาง บวม เงา และแดงร้อยละ 12.5 ความลึกร่องเหงือก 2–6 มิลลิเมตร ร้อยละ 82.5 มีการละลายตัวของกระดูกมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับร้อยละ 50ร้อยละ 20.0 มีอัตราการอยู่รอดของรากฟันเทียม ร้อยละ 96.25 มีรากฟันเทียมหลุด 3 ราก ความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้รากฟันเทียมโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 4.02, SD = 1.091)
สรุป: รากฟันเทียมที่ใช้ใช้รองรับฟันเทียมในขากรรไกรล่าง ในโครงการรากฟันเทียมพระราชทานมีอัตราการอยู่รอดในปีที่ 12 ร้อยละ 96.25 และผู้ป่วยมีความพึงพอใจโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก มีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.02 ซึ่งเป็นที่ยอมรับได้ และเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกับการศึกษาอื่น ๆ
