Abstract

A 16 year-old man came to hospital with fever, headache and progressive lid swelling of left eye. Examination revealed slightly poor left abduction and upgaze. Orbital cellulitis was the diagnosis. He was admitted for two days intravenous antibiotic therapy but the sign and symptoms were not improved. An urgent CT orbit disclosed two left orbital subperiosteal abscesses and multiple sinusitis. An emergency endoscopic drainage of the abscesses was arranged.
