Hepatic Angiosarcoma in a 19 Year-old Man: A Case Report

Abstract

The patient, a 19 years old Thai male was transferred from an emergency room of a community hospital with severe abdominal pain. Even though the initial symptoms were nonspecific, a liver biopsy led to a diagnosis of hepatic angiosarcoma. After the surgery, the patient was referred to the National Cancer Institute for further treatments. The young age of this patient and the lack of history of toxic exposure were unusual aspect of this case.
