Participation of Head Community in Community Primary Healthcare Center for Care and Prevention of DM and HT as Home Health Care Unit in U-thoung Hospital, Suphanburi Province

Abstract

     As crisis of increasing of out patient in U-thong hospital. The Community Primary Healthcare Center for care and prevention of DM and HT (as Home Healthcare Unit in the motivation of participation of community) was established. The purposes of this research were (1) analysis the degree of participation and (2) find the relationship between human factors and environment factors with the participation of head community. The 68 persons of head community were collected data by questionnaires in July to August 2007.

     The results of research were that (1) the participation of Head Community was in good level about 51.5% and (2) the factors which related to this participation were (a) motivation factors ; development and acception from people and (b) environment factors ; government policies etc.

     We suggested that we should unprove Knowledge, skill and support instruments, incentive for . motivation of Participation of Head Community.
