Total Abdominal Hysterectomy in Phrachomklao Hospital during October 2002 - September 2005

Abstract

       During October 2002- September 2005, 354 women in Phrachomklao Hospital were performed total abdominal hysterectomy. The peak of age was 40-49 years old. The most common symptom was pelvic mass and the most common indication was myoma uneri. TAH + BSO + Appendectomy was the most common procedure. The severe complication was blood loss and pathological finding of leiomyoma was detected in 221 women.
