Early Clinical Outcome of Patients with HIV/AIDS Into the National Access to Antiretroviral in Paktho Hospital Ampur Paktho Ratchaburi Province

Abstract

The aim of study is to evaluate clinical outcome of antiretroviral treatment in HIV/AIDS patients 50 cases : female 28 case (56%), male 22 case (44%) with a mean age of in 39 years. Post treatment yield increase CD4 with a mean CD4 356 Cells/cu.mm., body weight increase in 43 case (86%), Viral load < 50 Copies/ml 23 case (46%), Viral load > 2,000 Copies/ml 2 case (4%). There were drug resistances and changed to resistant drug regimen drug adherence 43 case (86%), The common side effects were skin rash for 4 cases (8%), hyperglecemia and hyperlipidemia 1 case (2%). Patients had to change the drug regimen due to side effect, from Lamivudine Stavudine Nevlrapine and Lamivudine Stavudine Efavirenz in 4 case (8%). The patients who had screening test for tuberculosis and received tuberculosis treatment in 24 case (48%) and 15 case (30%) prevention of infection 49 case (98%), disclosure 42 case (84%). All patients used condoms, screening CA cervix 22 case (44%) Abnormal and refer in 1 case (2%), No treatment 1 case (2%) No patients die during the study period.
