Abstract

           The purpose of this research was to study the changes of health promotion behaviors and the disease prevention of the people from health edycation program implementation in knowledge and attitudes and according to Healthy Thailand policy. The population composed of 96 family leaders in makhamain village Moo 7 Takoey District, Amper Suanphueng, Ratchaburi province. The research instrument was the questionnaire on knowledge, attitudes, health promotion behaviors and disease prevention according to healthy Thailand policy. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Paired t-test.

           After the experiment on Exercises, Safe food and To Be Number on club, the research findings showed that the knowledge about health promotion and disease prevention in accordance with Healthy Thailand policy had unsignificant decreased mean. However, the mean of the knowledge about the aged. group operation and breast cancer was significantly increased. The mean of the knowledge about Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever, hypertension and Diabetes was also significantly increased. The attitudes towards all involved aspects showed the significant increased mean. The mean o the behaviors was highly significant. In conclusion, the application of both health education program and the empowerment process were the motivators fore the changes of health promotion behaviors and disease prevention toward better healthy Thailand.
